The city of Lodz
The conference will take place in Łódź (Lodz, pronounced woodge), the former textile industry empire and a city of contrasts, culture, and grand events. In the 19th century, Lodz was one of Europe's greatest and fastest growing textile industrial centres. After the world wars, it has become the cinematic capital of Poland. Nowadays Lodz is a creative city, which is being discovered all over again. It is located in the very heart of Poland, in Central Europe, so you could say that all the roads lead to... Lodz.
Our city takes the 2 place in the world in Lonely Planet's ranking of the best destinations to visit in 2019!
